Mommy's Heart Touched

Time flies by so quickly.  My Megan is losing teeth quickly and learning to read.  Seems like just yesterday she was this baby girl:
Of course, back then, she was just getting teeth.  She didn't have much for hair.  Now, she has loose, natural spiral curls that frame her beautiful blue eyes.

Now... she is my funny girl.  Oh, the faces she makes.  She is so EXPRESSIVE!
She also loves to be outside, playing in her own little world.
She is a very happy girl.  She asked me recently when she was going to start "real school".  One of the little boys at church is her age, and he just began Kindergarten at the public school.  I told her that her daddy and I had chosen for her to do "real school" at home with us.
Being curious, she asked "Why".  I told her that we wanted to teach her all about Jesus, along with counting and reading.  I was honest with her.  I told her that she wouldn't be able to learn about Jesus at public school.
Megan kind of got real serious for a moment.  Then she looked at me, gave me a hug, and said, "I like learning about Jesus with you, Mommy."

My mommy's heart was touched.  I pray that I am teaching my children in a way that glorifies God.  This was a wonderful answer.
