Sibling Love

I took my daughters to the park the other day.  One of my daughters couldn't make it, but the others were all there.  With my oldest leaving for college in days, I wanted to capture some memories before she left.
I will miss my oldest girl when she is gone.  Yes, she'll be home for holidays.  In May, when she comes back, she will be getting married!  How did my chunky little baby grow into an engaged woman?
My girls are so funny together. They are always bugging each other, picking on each other, and literally driving each other crazy.  Yet, they are connected with a deep bond that can't be broken.
Kim and Megan are probably the most alike in personality.  Both are outgoing and busy.  They only stop moving when asleep or sick.  To be honest, I think they move a lot in their sleep!  There is a large age gap between the two, but that has only made Kim very protective of her baby sis.
Kim and Jasmine are also fun to watch together.  Kim brings out the girlie part of Jazz.  Both girls are soccer lovers.  Kim has always been Jasmine's protector.  No one picks on Jasmine when Kim is around.

Kim and Laura are very opposite in personality,  Where Kim is outgoing, Laura is quiet.  Where Kim is busy, Laura is laid-back.  They share a love of music and reading.  Kim says she is sad to leave our church because she loves watching Laura worship Jesus.  When Kim is on the stage, singing her heart out for Christ, she loves to watch her little sis worship with freedom that is rare in a 12 year old.
It's hard to believe that summer is nearly over.  In this next week my Kimmy will leave home for college.  My younger girls will begin the school year.  Summer has gone by quickly!
