Okay, I may be a slacking homeschool teacher, but we have done nothing for school for two days. Yesterday we moved my sister into her new house. Today, we hit yard sales. Ironically, tomorrow looks a bit like today with the exception of helping my sister hold a yard sale. I figure Laura helping sell things tomorrow at the yard sale will be awesome for her.
I keep looking for school things at the yard sales. I haven't had a lot of luck yet. I'll probably find the perfect books when I run out of money that I have budgeted. I did find a large set of Berenstain Bears books in near mint condition for $4. These will be perfect read alouds for Megan.
I have all summer to look. I was just hoping to luck out right away. If I don't, I'll be patient and let God lead me to what he wants for our home library.
