Seeing Some Georgia Sights

We went to see a natural spring today.  Crawfish Spring was beautiful.  The water was so clear!

I took several pictures.

We then went to the Gordon-Lee Mansion in Chickamauga.  It was picturesque and full of southern charm.

The tree-lined path up to the Mansion was gorgeous!

The building is so historical.  Markers are spaced out, telling some of the amazing history of the area. The inside shows how the mansion looked during the Civil War.

The outside has some of the prettiest flowers and sitting areas.

We then went back to the Chickamauga National Battlefield Park.  The area is so large that one day wasn't enough to explore.  We went hiking today through the woods.

Monuments were scattered throughout the Park.  I found it unifying that the monuments honored both the Union and Confederate soldiers and each State that fought on the land during the Civil War.
