Chickamauga Battlefield and Museum

We visited a Civil War battlefield today.  The friend we are staying with on our visit down here loves history and is a bit of a Civil War buff.

It was interesting.  So many men, so many States represented.

We toured the museum.  We climbed Wilder Tower. We saw a log cabin that was an infirmary.  There was too much to see in our limited time, and we will try to go back.

Megan had a good time, even though the history was beyond her understanding.  We will study the Civil War in the future.  I'm hoping that some of the things Megan saw will come back to her memory.
