Married

Tasha, my second born and first homeschool graduate got married Saturday.  It was a beautiful day!

My daughter married her long-time boyfriend, Auston.  It was a special day, made more special after Tasha's tough year battling health issues and healing from a couple major surgeries.

Despite a bit of rain, we managed to hold the ceremony outside at Auston's family home. The bride was radiant and the groom nervous and handsome.

Before the ceremony my husband, daughters, and I gathered around Tasha and prayed for her, for the ceremony, and for God's blessings on the marriage.  It was a special moment that brought a couple of us to tears.

Tasha had her sisters as her bridesmaids.  Her baby sis, Meg, and Auston's niece were flower girls.  They were all so pretty!

Seeing Tasha escorted down the aisle by her step-dad, my husband, was breathtaking.  Auston had stuck to tradition and didn't see her in her dress.  When he did, he was crying. After nearly losing her last year, after all the challenges, she was breathtaking. Many cried when they saw her for the first time in her dress.

The rest of the day went by in a blur of vows, food, and dancing.  It was a joyous day.  So many were so glad to share this day.

The couple has headed to Florida for their honeymoon.  But I pray God will bless them immensely.
