That happened to me yesterday. What was supposed to be a cookout/swim party was rained out. Actually, the storms thgt came through closed down the pool. We did enjoy the pavilion that kept us somewhat protected from the storm as we ate.
At the end, as everyone left, God's beauty and the symbol of His promise appeared in the sky. The rainbow (actually it was a double) was seen for miles. I got up from the conversation with friends to snap pics.
All I could do was smile at the gorgeous glory God had left in the sky.
