Ten Days with Nephews

Having my nephews for nine days has kept me busy and left me exhausted.  They are going home tomorrow.  The boys are adorable, but very busy.  I guess I got used to my baby being older, more independent, and potty trained.
These two toddlers are up bright and early.  They then are on the go for hours.  I can usually get them to take at least one nap during the day, but rarely is it at the same time.
They are going home tomorrow.  While I will miss them, I am grateful that I will soon be getting a break from having so many little ones at once.  I truly have gained a lot of respect for moms with several little ones.  I hadn't had that situation in our family in years.  It's easy to forget how much work is involved.
There was a seven year space between my last two, Laura and Megan.  It was almost like starting over, but it was still nowhere near the workload of two toddlers.  I can't wait to sleep in, get back to doing some school with Megan, actually have my home be clean for ten minutes, and to have a day without having to change diapers.

I tried to enjoy my time with my nephews while they were here.   I loved snuggle time with the baby.  The three year old has a smile that lights up a whole room.  I'm grateful for the time that they got to stay with us.  I didn't have workout time or blog time or time for much of anything else.  I think Megan has gone through Mommy withdrawal.  However, she has had lots of playtime with her cousins.
