Megan learned about the letter "S" this week. She enjoys the wonderful crafts that go along with each letter.
This craft had Megan gluing strips of yarn to the letter "S". Doing these activities cements in Megan's mind the letter that she is learning. I read recently that a child remembers up to 90 % of their hands-on activities. I totally agree. Why? Because children have an curiosity, a desire to touch, a desire to do. Children explore their world from birth. Learning is a natural thing when they get to do.
