Weekly Wrap-up 12-19-08

We did 4 days this week. It wasn't four full days, but we did get through most of our lessons. There are a couple things we missed due to the ice storm, like the spelling test and finishing the Daniel Boone book. Here is what we did accomplish.

SCIENCE - Laura started studying light and shadows this week.

HISTORY - Laura read about George Washington, Ben Franklin, and started reading about Daniel Boone.

READING - Laura read the book The Chalk Box Kid. She also read from Better Bridges, her ABeka reader. She did three lessons in her Reading Skills workbook.

LANGUAGE ARTS - Laura started her new Language Arts book from ABeka this week. We didn't get to work in it as much as I wanted due to illness and the ice storm, but Laura did most of the work for they types of sentences. She worked in her Wordly Wise book, but we'll have to go over the information again after break.

WRITING - Laura learned cursive 'O'. Yeah, easy week.

BIBLE - Laura did lessons six and seven in Leading Little Ones to God. She also read about The sons of Aaron in Old Testament stories. She worked read Matthew 15 this week.
