In public school there are sick days. When your daughter wakes up throwing up all over, you just call the school and say she can't come. With homeschooling, you have to make up the entire day on a different day. I'll worry about making it up later.
Right now Laura is in no condition to do school. She is laying down, only getting up to be sick. My work is cut out for me. How do I keep the baby from her? It's going to be one of those mom days where I'll have my hands full. I have those every day, but sick days are a different sort of busy.
