Laura had an interesting history lesson today.  We were reading about the plagues.  We read about the final plague where the Israelites put the lamb's blood on their doorposts.  Eventually this plague was remembered in the holiday Passover.
Megan used red crayon on three pieces of white paper.  She colored some red (blood) on each paper.  We then taped them to our doorposts, each side and the top.  I then discussed with Laura how the lamb's blood caused the angel to passover the homes that put it on their doors.
Megan was so excited about the project that she wanted to keep the signs up until Daddy could see.  We discussed the significance of the lamb's blood versus the redeeming blood of Christ.  I don't know if Megan understood much, but she still thought it was cool.
