My husband is so wonderful! He was home today after taking a vacation day last night. He spent the day helping me with the house, the kids, schooling... it was so great!
While I worked with Laura on her schooling, Daddy jumped in and helped with Megan. He did all of it, including the playtime portion of the lessons. (He usually leaves that for me cause it can be silly.)
It was our first day back after Spring Break, and I woke up this morning realizing that I hadn't even planned out our week. I try to stay a week or two ahead in planning, but I totally forgot to plan at all! Luckily Heart of Dakota is so planned out that I only have to add in details such as which dictation passage, what grammar lesson, which math lesson, which book and lesson for DITHOR, and the extra read aloud I schedule in besides the HOD storytime. So, after a few minutes, the week was pretty much planned.
