My husband had his birthday recently. We had a small party with cake and ice cream for him the other day. Being so close to Christmas, it is difficult to squeeze in a party that isn't about the holiday. However, we manage to do something every year.
It was mostly family and a couple of friends. I like small parties though. Less work, and lots of love.
The girls decorated the house a little. They hung some Happy Birthday Signs. With all the Christmas Decorations, too much birthday would be overkill.
Of course, the signs made by the teenagers picked on him a little... but it was all out of love.
