We wanted a more simple holiday, and we succeeded. It turned out to be a little larger than planned thanks to a wonderful friend that blessed us, and we gratefully accepted that blessing.
The gifts were mostly simple. Educational toys, clothes, some books and videos, and baby dolls.
It is amazing that, no matter how old they get, they still approach Christmas morning with the wonder and excitement of a five year old.
Jasmine was excited about her new Christian t-shirt. Her best gift was a purity ring.
Tasha got her favorite movie, which excited her. She also got of slippers, which she usually wears in place of shoes.
Laura received the doll she has been drooling over for the last few months. Megan isn't allowed to touch this one.
There were lots of other gifts. The most interesting one was probably the volcano kit for daddy and Laura to work on together. The one I want to borrow would be the C.S. Lewis series that Kim received that contains seven of his works. My best present was the dishwasher, that I actually got a month or so ago. It is still my favorite.
It was a fun Christmas morning.
