For two days we have been painting, painting, painting. This time it doesn't benefit our home. We have been painting the church parsonage. The new pastor will stay there until he sells his home and can buy a new one locally. After that, we are hoping to use the place for classrooms. No matter what happens, it was time to give the place a face lift.
The work was exhausting. I'm ready for bed. I wanted to blog, though. I honestly feel that working to benefit others, with nothing really in it for a reward, is a definite character builder. The younger girls weren't allowed to paint. (Saved ourselves a big mess.) The older ones were put to work. Tasha said it was fun. She even painted after working this morning at her summer job.
