A little over three weeks ago I put my oldest daughter on a plane bound for Louisiana so that she could spend time with her father and his family before she began college. Her younger sister, Tasha, couldn't go because she had a summer job.
I pick her up today from the airport. I have missed her immensely. While I think the time away from home is good for her, giving her some adventure in travel and some time to bond with her dad, his wife, and her darling little brothers; I will be glad to have her home. Despite the other children, her presence has been missing from our home. I don' t know how I'll cope when she moves away, but I know she must follow God's plans for her life.
