Last Wednesday I attended my senior daughter's Baccalaureate for the senior class. It was nice. My daughter was supposed to sing, but had barely any voice due to a cold. We enjoyed ourselves anyway. After the service, the class officers gave out unofficial awards. For instance, my daughter won the award for most likely to be caught playing in a park at thirty with the four-year-olds. I think too many have seen her take her baby sis to the park.
Anyway, afterward there was an ice cream bar and a powerpoint of pictures of the senior class. Some of the pics were pretty funny. Some were just sentimental. Some of the kids had moved away. I don't think any had passed away, which is a blessing the kids haven't even realized.
It's my daughter's last official week of school. After that she'll just have graduation practice. Wow! My daughter is graduating in a couple weeks. It doesn't seem possible.
