Winter Ice Cream Treat

At Mpact Girls last night, we had a special treat of ice cream cones.  It was the request of the Pastor's daughter.  Our Pastor and his family are leaving us to take another church a couple hours away.

Megan, Laura, and the girls loved the special treat.  We usually have a treat, but our ice cream days are often in the summer when it's hot outside.

We are all very sad to see our Pastor and family leave.  They will be missed very much.  We know they are going to a church that needs them very much.  Selfishly, we want to keep them with us.  However, we know that they have to follow what God tells them and trust that his plan for our church will bring good things.

 

Yes, Laura looks a little crazy here.  She had spent some time outside running with the other kids.  She didn't care much about the cold.  She still wanted ice cream.
