I had to make a trip out of town today. I took the girls with, and we made a day of it. Laura did car-schooling, and accomplished nearly everything. She aced her spelling (Word-Building) pretest.
We went out to eat, which is a treat for us. We bummed around some stores. We had a nice day.
The good thing about ACE is that it is very portable. Laura grabbed her booklets and the books she is reading, and off we went. I think it gave me a glimpse that we don't necessarily have to stay home to do school. For so long, taking everything with us was a chore. Now, it was quite simple. Oh, we didn't get to our read aloud or coloring page like I planned. However, we have tomorrow.
(Megan really liked her jello!)
