Along with Laura's lessons on rocks and minerals came a lesson on Borax. I thought it would be awesome to give Laura something to associate with her lesson. I have Borax. Living cheaper has meant having Borax on hand for my laundry soap and other cleaning products. I got it out to show Laura exactly what Borax is and how it looks.
I let Laura touch the Borax too, but she washed her hands as soon as we were done.
Laura got to feel how fine Borax can be.
I don't think I knew what Borax was until a month or two ago when I decided to go frugal with our cleaning supplies. I still didn't understand it was a mineral until I read Laura's lesson. Yes, I'm learning too.
