Building a Pyramid

My Meggy finished her history project for this week.  She has been studying Moses and the ancient Egyptians.

She first cut the pyramid out of paper.  Mommy tried to help with the measuring, but it still wasn't perfectly symmetrical. Megan didn't care. We folded it up into the best pyramid we could manage.

Yesterday, Megan coated her pyramid with glue and sugar representing the limestone walls.

Today she outlined a shadow on a piece of paper under the pyramid.  She then colored the "sand" and darkened the shadow.

I love that these history lessons come to life for our children. Megan is enjoying Preparing Hearts for His Glory!
