O-O-o-o-k-k-lahoma...

It was opening night. My sister played Laurey.  My youngest player a farmer's daughter.  She wasn't a main actor in this talented, local theater group... but who cares?  She's eight, gets to act and sing on stage with her aunt, and loves performing.

She wasn't nervous, either.  In between scenes when she isn't on stage, she's in a back hallway playing with the other children in the play.  None of them seemed to be nervous that they were on stage in front of hundreds.

I am glad that Megan has gotten this experience.  In a couple of years she'll be old enough to act with a local children's group.  For now, making memories with her aunt is very cool.

I hope she remembers this years from now... And cherishes the memory.
