A Weekend Away

We have spent the weekend with friends that live a couple hours away. It has been a relaxing weekend... One that has given us a chance to take a break from pressures.  As I've spent the weekend with Godly friends, I've been able to pray about direction without feeling like things have to work on my timetable.

Our children always have fun with their children.  It has been wonderful to enjoy the beauty of nature.  Megan got to go fishing for the first time, and she LOVED it!  She was so excited about catching her first fish, but was sad it was too small to keep.

We enjoyed time at a lake, grilling out, even making homemade pizzas.  It's just as wonderful to attend church with our friends, worshipping and hearing the Word together.

Some of the most special times are the times spent sitting around, hanging out, talking about the Lord.  So wonderful... That bond... That time talking about the goodness of God, even during trials.
