I was in a baking mood. Since going gluten free, I don't bake as often. However, I decided an apple crisp and a blueberry crisp sounded wonderful. I made the apple and was getting ready to start the blueberry when my six year old asked if she could help. I took a look at that sweet face that has spent all weekend fighting a fever and knew it would be the perfect mom/daughter activity. She was such an excellent little helper.
