Our Trip South

Last month we took a road trip to see my oldest daughter at her college.  It was the first road trip we had taken in a couple of years, and the first that included all three of my younger children.  It was the first time for my husband, me, and our children to drive through St. Louis.  The girls were fascinated by the famous arch.
The scenery south of here was simply gorgeous!  It was still chilly outside.  In fact, on the second day of the trip we got a snowstorm!  But, it was still very nice to just get away.
We hope to make the trip again, this time with a lot more stops to visit some of the sights we had to forgo this time.  The girls still had a great time.  Despite the LONG car ride, the girls got to see places they had never seen before.  That was fun!
