We held a birthday celebration over the weekend for my two youngest daughters. Laura, who turned 13 a couple of weeks ago, and Megan, who will be turning 6 in a couple of weeks. Always before I would hold separate parties for the girls, but this year seemed to get very crazy.

The girls, along with friends and family, decorated their own cupcakes. They always seem to find that more fun than anything fancy or expensive.

My daughter Tasha was able to come to the party. Kim, who was home the weekend before for Resurrection Sunday, was unable to attend. She attends college 8 hours away and just can't make that trip often.

The girls both got some great presents. Megan received toys and some beautiful spring/summer clothes. Since she is growing fast, the clothes are definitely appreciated!
Laura also received some clothes. She also got cash, because she wants to save for an Ipod. Her favorite gift was the silly Creme Horns that she LOVES! She wanted me to figure out how to make them into a birthday cake, but the store was out when I went to purchase some.
It was a great birthday party for both of my girls!
