It was a icky weekend for me. I felt it coming on a couple days ago. You know that feeling... the slight chill that isn't from cold weather, the congestion, the scratchy throat... all telling you that your body has been invaded. I figure it was when I watched my two year old nephew during church a few days ago. He wasn't feeling well. Sure enough, within a day I felt horrible too.
I spent the entire weekend sleeping on the couch or in my bed. When I wasn't sleeping, I was reading or watching videos. I didn't get done what I had planned. I missed church entirely Sunday, feeling so poorly and afraid I would infect my church brothers and sister.
Yet, I still had time with God. I had a lot of down time. It is during that down time that I got to spend time in the Word and in prayer.
I am hoping to be better quickly so we can get back to normal, even if I did enjoy the chance to be lazy.
