I'm not a big Santa fan. Oh, there's nothing wrong with the jolly ole guy, but he doesn't seem to have as much intrigue now that I'm a Christian. Yet, when Santa is at the local Community Center for a Christmas thingy, I take the girls to go see him.
With games, cookie decorating, making ornaments, and seeing Santa... it's just too fun to miss. The girls and I had a blast today.
Even Kim joined us. It was a good thing too, cause keeping up with Megan and Laura was a lot for one person when they wanted to go different directions.
Megan, for the first time, was not afraid of Santa even a little bit. Every year up until now she would cry when she saw him. And then I learned that my four year old wants a giant teddy bear for Christmas. This was news to me.
Megan decorated her star-shaped sugar cookie.
Laura painted an ornament.
Kim tried to sneak some of Laura's sugar cookie.
There was a special gift made for Mommy. I am such a mushy mom. I love hand made stuff from my kids!
Like I said, Kim was a huge help.
Musical Chairs.... no explanation needed.
Time to go home.
