Costume Fun |
It has been a whirlwind Christmas vacation. Toys have been played with. I still don't have the planning done for school that I want to finish. Megan received a tub full of dress up clothes from her big sis. She LOVES them. She's kind of a costume nut anyway. She loves to play dress up, and often will wear them all day. On this day she was some sort of cat cowgirl. I'm not sure, but it was cute.

Paper Dolls |
It seems like the girls either are going to someone's house or has friends over. Laura is at the "spend the night" age, where there seems to be a friend overnight or Laura goes to spend the night somewhere. When she is home, Megan begs her sis to play with her. Megan got a couple kits of paper dolls that she has enjoyed playing with. Laura joins her once in awhile

My husband and his brother |
The extra time with extended family has been a huge blessing. Everyone gets so busy that we don't get the time to just see each other regularly. Brothers, sisters, parents, and cousins... we have gotten to visit many of them. Today we took our oldest daughter out to eat (with the wonderful gift cards for Christmas) with a friend of hers, then we walked around the mall while she shopped (also gift cards). It was a nice evening, and a rare treat for us.

My sis and her son |
My oldest got to spend three days with her Aunt, Uncle, and little cousin. The took her ice skating and introduced her to Geo-caching. She says the geo-caching could become addictive.

Christmas Season 2011 Memories |
It has gone fast, but it seems that our Christmas Vacation is nearing an end. The year 2011 is coming to a close. I look forward to 2012 and the adventures God has for us.
