When Laura got out her supplies to work on her painting that goes with her poetry lesson, Megan wanted to join in the fun too! I quickly covered the table with newspaper, and let Megan create her own masterpiece.
Both girls love it when they can be artistic. Laura has loved to paint for awhile. When she found out that she was going to be able to paint her way through poetry, she was ecstatic. She enjoys poetry, but having the ability to paint scenes that represent the poems she is studying just brings that poetry to life for her.
Megan just likes to do what sissy is doing. She also loves to paint, though I can definitely say that her specialty is abstract art at the moment. (LOL.) She is very colorful with her paintings, and feels like she is just as grown up as her sister.
