Laura had some pictures taken by my sister the other day. My children tend to be my sister's models for her pictures as she builds her photography business. I don't complain. I've received many amazing pictures of my children. My kids may be her guinea pigs, but my sister has learned a lot and has a lot of fun in the process.
The pictures definitely show how grown up my little Laura has gotten.
The pictures also show my daughter's fun nature.
As I am praying for this year for my daughter, one of the things I have prayed for is direction in leading her heart closer to Christ. She is growing up fast, and I want her foundation to be based on the truth of His Word, and nothing else.
At 11 years old, I am astounded at the wonderful young lady that is growing up before my eyes.
It's as if I can glimpse the woman she will be one day.
