My First Homeschool Graduate!!

Tasha with her aunt and youth leader, Kendal.

 CLASS OF 2011

My daughter, Tasha, graduated yesterday.  She was my first official homeschool graduate, though I take little credit.  She came home from public school the beginning of 11th grade to be homeschooled.  She did the majority of the work on her own, with mom just as a support and spelling test giver.  We held her graduation and Open House yesterday at our church.

She worked hard.  In August she will begin college.  I am so very proud of her.  She is planning on attending school to study Social Work.   She has a deep desire to help kids and give them a voice when they are in a situation they should never be in.
We are all proud of her.  She has the most incredible heart.  She loves life, is fun, and is so very humble.  She also loves Jesus.  I love what she has accomplished academically, the goals she has to help others, but nothing touches this mother's heart more than knowing she loves and has placed her trust in Jesus.  Tasha's graduation was beautiful.  Our pastor gave a blessing to Tasha that was very touching.  Christ was allowed and talked about by the three speakers I chose.  I felt that the blessings given for Tasha's future were blessed by God.
Her open house after the graduation was full of family, friends, food, and gifts.
