Saturday morning is not our usual time for school... but the explosion could wait no longer. The volcano had waited over a week and Laura couldn't wait any longer. With her daddy and her sister's help, the experiment continued.
Add a little baking soda and a little vinegar and, viola, an exploding volcano.
It was so fun the girls kept doing it over and over until I had to ask them not to use all the baking soda.
However, we had success. Laura now, between the experiment and all the videos we've been watching, has gained some visual knowledge of volcanoes. Her book study on them continues on for the next little bit.
