Our family kind of rang in the New Year in separate places. My teenagers were at three different places with friends or family.
We started out the evening with dinner out. We felt it was important to end the year with some relaxing fun.
My ten year old then went with her great grandmother. Yes, she chose to be with her great grandmother. No one had to force or coerce her. She loves hanging out with her 80 year old great grandmother. Isn't that awesome?
My husband, the three year old, and I were at my in-laws ringing in the New Year. It wasn't like the parties and huge celebrations we've attended before, but it was still a nice night.
