This week was a four day week. I am hoping to have a full week next week and then the following will be our Spring Break.
I had planned a light week, and it ended up lighter than I had planned. We spent Thursday focused on Bible, trying to finish up a project for Stars. She only did some basics this past week.
BIBLE - Laura read about David in her Old Testament stories. She read Mark 14 and part of 15. She did the Church badge for Prims and worked on an Honor Step for The Life of Christ Badge in Stars. She basically earned a badge in Prims and Stars this past Wednesday.
MATH - In Abeka Arithmetic Laura did four lessons. She is just finishing up multiplication and division by 3.
LANGUAGE ARTS - Laura worked on can, may, learn , and teach. She is learning the proper time to use these words in sentences and in speaking.
READING - Laura read four chapters in Sarah, Plain and Tall. We read a couple chapters in A Little Princess. She is enjoying both books, but we aren't making the progress I would like in A Little Princess.
Spelling, Science, and Social Studies weren't done this week. She did a few pages in Handwriting, but it wasn't worked on every day. We will resume everything next week as normal.
