Sounds and Air Experiment

We tried this simple experiment that teaches how air carries different sounds. Try as she might, Laura could not get the bottles to make sounds. She was blowing too hard into them. But, Mommy came to the rescue. I blew in each bottle to show how the different amount of water would produce a different sound. I colored the water so it would show up in pictures. We discovered that the bottle with the least amount of water made a lower sound than the bottle with more water.
