Different Grasses

Megan had a wonderful science project yesterday.  We were reading about different grasses in our science book, and Ruth in our Bible time.

We learned that Ruth would go to the fields after the harvesters to gather leftover grain.  She would then take that grain home to make food for Naomi and herself.

We read about different types of grass and the different grains they provide, such as oats, barley, and wheat.
Megan's project was to use paint and some different grains to create a display.  Megan painted green grass, used paint and oats to represent barley, and used granola to represent wheat.

It was fun to make the Bible come alive with a science lesson and a hands-on project!
