She Did Good

Megan got her tooth fixed today.  One of her back molars had a cavity.  The dentist wanted to cap it.  I was a little worried that she would be afraid.  However, she surprised me.  She was a little afraid, but went with the hygienist happily.

It seemed an eternity that my husband and I sat in the waiting room.  When it was over, Megan came out smiling.

Just yesterday Megan lost her first official baby tooth.  (She accidentally knocked out her top front tooth when she was three by bumping it on Daddy's knee.)  Yesterday her first little bottom tooth fell out on schedule.

I am trying to get the majority of the check-up appointments out of the way before summer is over.  While we don't have to answer to a school with doctor's notes, we do have to complete 180 days of schooling.  Sick days happen, as do days when I just want to take the day off and enjoy a beautiful day, but all these random check-ups eat a lot of time.
