It is HOT outside! I gave in and turned on the air conditioner. We are hibernating in the cool inside with the drapes closed, trying to keep the house cool.
Normally, I insist on the TV being off during the day. I want the kids doing other things, like playing outside and enjoying their childhood. However, when it is this hot, going outside during the middle of the day can be dangerous. Jasmine asked me if she could watch Oliver, the musical, on Netflix. I agreed.
Next thing I knew the living room was full. Even Megan came in to watch the musical.
