The Blizzard of 2011 has departed the area, leaving a LOT of snow behind. I spent part of yesterday shoveling much of that snow just so we could get out of our house or put our vehicle in the garage. My husband had been stuck at work, but he made it home once the roads were cleared and the State of Emergency was lifted.
We got around a foot of snow. Many areas were more heavily hit. Digging out took some time, but the snow was pretty.
I let the girls play outside for a bit before the weather took a turn to below zero temps. Laura and Megan had no problem jumping in, sledding, and just having a blast.
Megan didn't want to come in. Daddy had to force her to come in with him.
