We are still working on our Five In a Row unit study of Snowflake Bentley. It was such a busy week, we only worked a couple of days. However, we are really enjoying the lesson. It may be a bit under Laura's level, but we are adding in some work. We were going to make a lapbook, but instead I think we are going to put the all of our work on a posterboard. I am also thinking of having Laura give a small presentation to our family about what she learns.
Next week we should have more time to focus on our work. If this goes as well as it has so far, I think we may have found our curriculum for next year. I may have to purchase another FIAR lesson plan to be sure. However, my local library doesn't have any of the other books in Volume 4. It may take some searching at other libraries. With only a couple weeks left, we may just ditch doing any other work and focus on other things.
