Easter is such a wonderful holiday. We gave the girls their baskets last night. Dad had to work, and we wanted him to be as much a part of family time as possible.
This year we didn't spend a lot of money. The girls got a little candy, and a water bottle to use in the upcoming warm weather. Megan got a bottle of bubbles. We only splurged on one item for the whole family. We bought a snow cone maker and a couple bottles of flavoring. My kids love snow cones and slushies. With summer coming, they will now have the ability to make their own treat instead of buying them at our overpriced gas station.
Kimmy created her own magic with Megan as she blew bubbles for her.
Laura picked through her basket.
Jasmine isn't a huge chocolate fan, but she will eat some. She liked the other candy more.
Tasha liked her basket. Kim didn't get a basket. (She stole hers last year and has stuff stored in it in her bedroom.) I put her candy in a giant water bottle she wanted.
All in all, I think the girls were happy with their baskets.
