I didn't get a picture of her with her medal... yet, but I am still so proud of my oldest daughter. In January she went to choir contest. Going group 1 (the hardest group), she got a Gold and was on the way to the state competition. This morning she competed in the state competition. She got Gold again.
She has a beautiful voice. She was nervous this morning, but her voice rang out in the classroom where she sang.
If there is anything I miss about public school, it is the opportunity for my children to be in choir. Kim is in her senior year. She has been in choir since the third grade. When my husband and I decided to homeschool our children, Kim stayed in public school so she could stay in her music classes. Music is a passion of hers, and she has been blessed by God with an amazing voice.
I pray God has uses for her voice in the future to touch people for HIM.
