Right now we are very thankful to God. My husband has been working steady for the last couple weeks at his job, but he has been looking for a new job. We don't think his current job will provide for us. He's already been on unemployment off and on for months.
Today my husband received a call from his old boss. He's been rehired back to his old position as a diesel mechanic. He'll start after the first of the year. We are thankful. Unfortunately, it means working nights again. It also limits my husband's time in church. I hate to see him miss . However, a job is a job. If God gave him a position, we are blessed to have it. I am hoping that the Sunday thing will work out. My husband loves his time in church, and we both are sad that it will be so tough for him to attend.
Our pay will still decrease from what we have become used to over the last few years. It is, however, more than unemployment. We will do our best. Our cost-cutting measures will stay in place.
