Drop Everything and Read!

It was DEAR day.  DEAR stands for Drop Everything And Read.  In honor of Beverly Cleary's 100th birthday, we all spent some time reading today.  My plans didn't go as I had thought when my oldest daughter arrived unexpectedly to visit. She had her nephew with her, so I asked Megan to choose a book he would enjoy.  Megan chose Dr. Suess, and spent time reading to little Daniel. Then, we finished school with our own reading after Kim and Daniel left.
