We had our first day of school today.
Megan is an official third grader now.
Laura is in the tenth grade.
Jasmine is in her final high school year. She is a senior!
Megan starts the school year already into her third grade work in reading, English, and Bible. She loves science and will read whatever I place in front of her. She has such a fun, creative mind.
Laura is my longest running homeschool student. She came home right after the start of her third grade year. We are beginning her eighth year as a homeschooler. She also enjoys reading. She has developed a passion for writing and fills notebook after notebook with stories. Despite thinking she isn't very good at math, she is exceeding her own expectations as she jumps into Algebra II.
Jasmine is in her final year, and that is surprising to me. She came home to be homeschooled in her freshman year, and has surpassed everyone's expectations. After years of struggling in public school, she has soared in high school at home!
I am so proud of my girls and how incredibly far they have come over
the years. They work hard and do well in their studies. Even more,
they love the Lord. I am anticipating this year to be one full of
adventure and learning and joy.
