Fighting To Be Well

It's been a trying few days.  I'm sick. I've been fighting this horrible cold that settled in my chest like bronchitis.  It's kept me home, which stinks cause I want to see my daughter.

Kim, my oldest, has also been sick.  But being a type 1 diabetic, she's been hospitalized.  She went from our local hospital to the larger one that's an hour away.  The doctors have cleared up her diabetes complications, but still she is ill. The doctors are running more tests tomorrow to find out why.

Meanwhile, my younger three daughters are all showing symptoms of the same cold I have, but are trying to push through.

One daughter is healthy, as far as I know.  She's in Nicaragua on her first mission's trip.

I'm praying God helps us all recover quickly.  I'm also praying for His protection on us all, including my little missionary in a foreign land.

Until then, I do my best to rest in His presence.
