One of THOSE Weeks

Megan eats a Popsicle to soothe her throat
I must have four or five blog posts started on my phone.  Sadly, if I'm interrupted, I lose it all.  It has become easier to just procrastinate.  My desktop computer seems to constantly be occupied by children doing school work.

This week hadn't gone as planned.  Megan and I struggled through school Monday.  I finally figured out why Megan was so distracted and grumpy.  She was running a fever.  Sure enough, that fever has lasted three days.

Yesterday, I didn't even bother with school.  Two of the girls had dental visits yesterday morning. Last night, Megan began complaining her throat was sore.  This morning, we decided it was doctor time.  Off we rushed to the doc.

Well, it's viral.  Hopefully she'll begin feeling better.  Megan and I watched Dad and sisters leave earlier for church.  We stayed home, not wanting to give the virus to anyone else.

After taking one child to the doctor, another had an appointment with specialist.  Laura's feet have been bothering her.  Last year she fractured one foot and spent a long time in an air cast.  Now she has more swelling and pain, this time in both feet, but in different spots.  Laura is back in the air cast, and we are waiting for x-rays to be forwarded to his main office so that her can give us a complete diagnosis.  We are praying for answers, and for healing.

Like I stated in the title, It's been one of "THOSE" weeks.  They happen. Life flows much easier on those weeks when everyone is healthy and we aren't rushing around or dealing with illness.  However, I praise God in the good and the bad.
