Wedding Busy

The groom and bride.
Our family is busy.  We are finishing up our school year.  We are doing all the daily and weekly things that need to be done.  And... we are busy getting ready for a wedding.  I can't remember ever being "wedding busy".  Yet, plans are coming together for the beautiful May wedding of my oldest daughter, Kim, and her fiance, Caleb.

Dresses are in the finishing stages of necessary alterations.  Cakes are ordered.  Final decisions on food have been decided.  It all is s-l-o-w-l-y coming together.

Last week my husband and I made the trip to Missouri to pick up my daughter, the Bride, from college.  Her fiance won't be here until just days before the wedding.  Up to this point much of the planning has been done via phone and texts, with my younger sister doing most of the work.

Between my determination that I spend daily time with the Lord NO MATTER WHAT, schooling, and wedding plans; my blog has lacked attention.  However, this is a short term neglect that I am sure will not last.

Now... off to Wednesday evening services at church where Kim will be preaching and discussing her missions trip to Alaska!  I am cherishing this time with my oldest because, after the wedding, she moves back to Missouri.
